This is the R14-BB PIC Development Bare Board for 8-pin & 14-pin Microcontrollers. This is a PCB designed to facilitate the rapid prototyping of an 8-pin or 14-pin MicroChip PIC microcontroller circuit/device. This is a bare PCB with no parts on it so that you can populate it per your requirements.
Users can construct their application circuit in the prototyping area with space available for several ICs and/or numerous discrete components. This is an excellent PCB to use to develop quick circuits. It is an ideal platform for doing rapid hardware and software development.
Sold as a bare PCB. You will have to supply the parts. A schematic and manual is included to identify which parts are needed and where to place them. The following items are required but not supplied: a 9-12vdc power supply (wall-mount type), the actual 8-pin PIC you will want to use, the tools to program it (such as MPLAB) and jumper wires for the breadboard

16 x 13 pin prototyping area (208 pins total)
Power and Ground pins run the length of the prototyping area on top and bottom
All 12 microcontroller port pins are brought out to a clearly labeled strip along the top of the prototyping area
Compatible with all MicroChip PIC 8-pin & 14-pin DIP packaged microprocessors
PIC 12F508, 629, 635, 675, 683 (and other 8-pin devices)
PIC 16F505, 630, 636, 684, 676, 688 (and 14-pin devices)
Crystal or ceramic resonator with external capacitors (DC-20MHz)
Ceramic resonator with internal capacitors (DC - 20MHz)
Footprints provided for either TO-220 or TO-92 voltage regulators
Footprint provided for Power switch and power-on LED
