Meter reads both Volts and Amps.
Volt/Amp select switch for meter.
The meter unit was reinstalled after it was pushed in.
When the laser, transformer and power supply are hooked up and turned on.
The power supply will indicate: ~7 volts and ~700ma.
When the power supply is turned off.
Remove the positive lead and touch it to the end of the laser with the red lead.
Caution: The voltage/current produced by the transformer is enough to kill you.
Caution: When power supply is turned off and even disconnected.
The laser tube holds a charge that will give you a large shock.
