Our polyethylene water tanks use resin which complies with U.S. Food and Drug Administration regulation 21CFR 177.1520 (1) 3.1 and 3.2 for storage of potable water. Tank Depot tanks can be placed on any FLAT, firm, level surface for simple installation.
PLEASE, inspect your tank for any carrier-caused damage before accepting delivery . Note any damage on Bill of Lading. REFUSE DELIVERY if it is obvious that the damage renders the tank useless.
If there is any concealed damage, you must contact both the freight carrier AND Tank Depot IMMEDIATELY or you risk the carrier denying your claim.
