This is a brand new Lincoln Electric Weld-Pak 175 HD (Model K2338-1) Wire Feeder MIG Flux-Core Welder Kit. It is complete in its original factory carton and has never been used.
The Weld-Pak 175HD is a complete semiautomatic constant voltage DC portable arc welder. It is an ideal welder for persons having access to 230 or 208 volt 60 Hertz AC input power and is easy to use. It is rated at 130 amps, 20 volts, at 20% duty cycle on a ten minute basis. It is capable of higher output currents at lower duty cycles. A tap-switch controlled, single phase constant voltage transformer/rectifier power source is included along with a wire feeder with welding gun for feeding 0.023†(0.6mm) - 0.035†(0.9mm) solid steel and 0.035†(0.9mm) Innershield® NR-211-MP flux-cored wire. The K549-2 0.045†(1.2 mm) Innershield®. Welding Kit (not included) is required for 0.045†(1.2 mm) Innershield® NR-211-MP flux-cored wire.
The Weld-Pak 175HD offers the dependability of both Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) [also known as Metal Inert Gas (MIG) welding] and the Innershield® electrode process (self shielded flux cored or FCAW). It is perfect for heavy home/farm repair, fabrication, and maintenance projects.
The Weld-Pak 175HD can be used for welding mild steel using the Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) single pass process, which requires a supply of shielding gas (not included), or the flux-cored arc welding (FCAW) process using Innershield® electrode wire.
