LUBRICATION ENGINEERS 2400 DCI PLUS DIESEL FUEL SUPPLEMENT
DCI PLUS Diesel Fuel Anti-Icing Additive. 2400 DCI PLUS protects diesel engine performance against the many variations in today's fuels. It helps engines deliver full power, improving fuel mileage by an average of 7.4% in a five fleet, 113 vehicle test. Cold weather performance is improved since DCI PLUS keeps moisture out of fuel and lowers the fuel pour point.
DCI PLUS's ashless detergent/dispersant assures a cleaner fuel system, from filters to combustion chamber. An oxidation inhibitor guarantees longer fuel storage life without sludge and gum formation, which will block filters and form choking deposits in the fuel system. The demulsifier cleanly separates water and fuel to keep water at the tank bottom for easy avoidance or removal before it goes to the fuel filter and beyond, thus eliminating the formation of clogging ice crystals. A metal deactivator prevents degradation of fuel caused by reaction of copper and bronze fittings. This greatly improves fuel stability in storage, and consequently eliminates performance problems in the engine.
The concentrated formula allows for easy and economical treatment; one gallon of DCI PLUS for 1000 gallons of diesel fuel, or one quart to 250 gallons of diesel fuel. DCI PLUS may also be used in heating oil.
