Can be used for RF grounding applications or Tesla Coil primary coils.
This copper strip is perfect for the primary of a Tesla Coil - The primary coil is visually and electrically as important as the secondary coil. Flat copper is ideal for this application as high frequency signals will travel more closely to the surface of a conductor due to the "Skin effect". Also flat copper strip is much easier to bend and form than round tubing - especially for those larger coils!
Still building a Tesla Coil using copper water tubing? - Water tubing is a great option but when you are finished it looks like well............copper water tubing. Dress up that coil !!! I like the thicker gauge of 0.032 inches of this strip compared to other copper strip solutions. It is less flimsy, holds its shape much better and does not have the sharper edges of the thinner copper gauges.
