Milling machine tool shell mill arbor
This is a shell mill and arbor. The shell has a waxy semi hard coating on it for damage protection of the flutes. The shell is 3 3/4" long by 2 3/8" diameter. The cutting face or flutes of the mill is 2 3/4". It has 14 flutes. The diameter of the arbor its mounted on is 1 1/8" and it rests 3 3/4" up on the arbor. The arbor has a 1/4" tang 180 degrees apart that engage the shell mill. The total length of the arbor is 10 1/4". The arbors shaft is stepped from 1 1/4" diameter on the top to 1 3/8" diameter down to the shell mill collar. The length of the stepped diameter arbor is 2 1/4" to 5 1/4". Will fit a variety of milling machines. This is brand new and never used.
