The scale sides attached to the full length blade are a rich lustrous genuine Cocobola wood, which only adds to the knife's beauty. If you are a wood carver or whittler that does Shows, this one of a kind knife will sure draw heads and start conversations when ever used. The design is excellent at getting into hard to reach places, paring, and general roughing out.
