This highly accurate digital portable instrument is from a special lot that was private-branded for a US Government Defense Contractor by Thermo Electric. This instrument came from the "cream of the crop" as a select unit with better than average specification tolerances intended for government/military useage.
Guaranteed not to be DOA. Original factory accuracies as specified cannot be guaranteed since I have no way to accurately test this unit. Age may be a factor; However, units were stored in locked conditioned storage and were totally untampered with. All functions appear to work well and are stable.
J: -320 to 1675 F, -196 to 913 C
K: -310 to 2500 F, -190 to 1371 C
T: -320 to 750 F, -196 to 399 C
E: -320 to 1450 F, -196 to 788 C
B: 1000 to 3200 F, 538 to 1750 C
RTD: Read input/Input mode (No output) -320 to 1500 F, -196 to 816 C
Note: The above ranges (total spans) are split into "low" and "high" output spans, which are switch selectable by the operator on front panel. There also is a pot to adjust for desired output.
