THIS IS A URETHANE HOSE WHICH IS BETTER THEN PVC.THE HOSE IS TRANSLUCENT BLUE ,WHICH MEANS YOU CAN SEE THROUGH THE HOSE.
WHATS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN URETHANE AND PVC ????????
URETHANE IS A BETTER HOSE AND SHOULD LAST TWICE AS LONG IF NOT LONGER THEN PVC HOSES.

LOCATE A MEDIUM POINT PEN. TRY TO PIERCE YOUR EXISTING HOSE WITH THIS PEN. IF THE PEN GOES THROUGH THE HOSE WITH ABOUT A 50 TO 75% EFFORT ON YOUR BEHALF YOU HAVE A PVC HOSE.
IF YOU HAVE A URETHANE HOSE MOST LIKELY THE PEN WILL NOT PIERCE THE HOSE UNLESS YOU US " GORILA STRENGTH."
AFTER YOU ATTEMPT TO PIERCE THE HOLE YOU WILL SEE A PIMPLE ON THE HOSE.
