Jam Labs E-Z Generator Flasher
This clever tool makes flashing the field on a generator a snap. No Generator Technician's toolbox is complete without one of these nifty tools! No more probing the slip-rings or unhooking electronic voltage regulators. Simply plug it into a 120V receptacle on the generator, start the unit, and momentarily push the button. It's that easy! The green light on the side of the unit lights up to tell you that the unit was successfully flashed. Circuitry inside the unit automatically resets when the unit is unplugged, making it ready for the next job. No fuses to replace like other low-cost units on the market. Works on both brushed and brush-less units. We have successfully flashed generators from 2KW up to 60KW with this powerful unit!
A little history on this unit: Invented back in the late 1980's by a Generator Technician at Homelite, this nifty tool quickly found its way onto the production lines where it was used day after day to flash thousands of units. Demand for these units from Homelite's Field Service Technicians led to small production lots being produced in the Engineering Lab. Soon, the secret was out, and Technicians everywhere were calling Homelite for one of these units. Today, the unit is still being produced for use by Generator Technicians everywhere.
