4-way toolholder for your lantern style toolholders
4-WAY TOOLHOLDER FOR YOUR LANTERN STYLE TOOLHOLDERS
THIS IS A ROCK SOLID TOOL HOLDER THAT WORKS LIKE YOUR LANTERN STYLE TOOL HOLDER. YOU MAY CONTINUE TO USE YOUR TOOL HOLDERS DESIGNED TO FIT YOUR LANTERN STYLE TOOL HOLDER. The main body of this toolholder is made of a solid piece of steel. The toolbits rest on an arc shaped piece of steel. Tilt the arc to adjust the height of the toolbit. The arc sits in a dished out groove. The part that fits into the T-slot has a pin at one end. This pin fits into a hole on any side of the underneath of the main body of the toolholder. Unscrewing the locking lever raises the main body of the toolholder. You may then turn the toolholder to any of 4 positions. This fit the compound of a 12" Clausing model 5914 lathe, which I recently sold. If necessary, you may remachine the part that fits in the T-slot to fit your lathe.
