Even though plasma display technology is quite a bit different than CRT technology, you are still simply balancing the light produced by red, green, and blue phosphors to produce the industry-standard D65 white light. Since this is the white reference used to produce all video programming, all colors will be more accurate when shown on a display white balanced to D65. Calibrating the white balance of a plasma display is very much like calibrating a CRT display, the calibration procedure is set up to be pretty much the same.
Some on line training and easy use instructions are available from the Sencore.com web site under Sencore News April of 02 and Archived Articles. I am no longer doing ISF calibrations and do not need this high quality analyzer.
Do not get left out when all TV programming goes High Definition in Feb. of 09. Make sure you are ready for the best image available for your set.
