Permanent Magnet “V†Block by Brown & Sharp used
599-750 D. Size 5-1/4†long 3-3/16†height 2-7/16†wide. It holds work in contact with the V faces. Block is accurately ground and faces of V-grove are hardened.
The “V†takes round stock to 1/3/4â€.Permanent Magnet blocks are ideal for holding small work in toolmaking, manufacturing or inspection. The blocks are located
and held on any magnetically conductive surface by turning the control knob only part way towards the “on†position. Work can be position on the block Easley
and accurately. Maximum magnetic force is obtained by turning the control knob to the full “ON†position. Work is removed from the block without disturbing its
position by turning the control knob part way toward “OFFâ€.
The Brow & Sharp trade mark is located on the side of the block. There is a few scratches but it works fine ,for grinding or inspection purpose or any use.
