1. POWER SWITCH The sampler will initiate a short lift/purge self test when power is first applied, then begin timing for the next sample lift.
2. STATUS INDICATORS These three light emitting diodes (LEDs) display the current mode of the sampling program. (e.g. PUMP LIFT, SAMPLE IN PROGRESS or PUMP PURGE)
3. SAMPLES PER DAY This selector switch determines the number of samples per 24-hour period the sampler will take, ranging from 125 to 8. Two additional settings are provided. Select FLOW PROP. for applications where the sampler is paced by an external flow meter. Selecting MANUAL LIFT will initiate a pump lift within 15 seconds. After the pump lift begins, leaving this selector in MANUAL LIFT will cause the pump to run continuously.
4. MANUAL CYCLE Depressing this pushbutton switch forces an immediate sample lift/pump cycle. sample volume will be determined by the position of SAMPLE VOLUME selector. At the completion of a manual cycle, timing for next sample will be determined by SAMPLES PER DAY selector.
5. FUSE Protects the electronic circuits from damage caused by any over-current condition. Replaced with a 3A fuse.
6. LIFT TUBING LENGTH Determines the duration of the pump purge cycle. Adjusting this selection to the approximate length of the lift tubing will optimize timing of the purge cycle, and conserve battery power.
7. SAMPLE VOLUME Selects the volume in milliliters to be delivered to the sample container at each pump lift sequence. An additional selection, MANUAL PURGE, allows the operator to initiate a purge cycle at any time by simply rotating the selector to this position.
