Please educate yourself and be aware of pitch based carbon fiber. This type of carbon fiber is being sold as "high quality carbon fiber", generating this perception that this carbon fiber is the same as the high quality Toray T300 and up PAN based. Pitch based carbon fiber is low quality and is priced low at ~$20/yard. This is what is "profitable to sell" in these times where real pan based high quality carbon fiber is so hard to find, in this climate of worldwide shortages of carbon fiber cloth/fabric. You do get what you pay for $.
All Carbon fiber cloth that I have/sell is PAN based, made by either Sigmatex, Hexel, or BGF.
This listing is for ultra strong T800HB, 5HS weave, 6K, a 40" wide roll that is 58 yards long. Compared to Standard carbon fiber is T300, which is 512ksi (3520 Mpa) tensile strength and 33.4Msi (230Gpa) modulus strength, this is T800 material and is much higher strength at 811Ksi (5590 Mpa) and 36.2 Msi (350 Gpa).
The weave is 5HS Satin, which is great for doing curves. It is 6k cloth and is 8.3 oz per sq yard.
An intermediate modulus, high tensile strength fiber, with high level and balance composite properties. Designed and developed to meet the weight saving demands of aircraft applications. Is used in primary structure of commercial aircraft, including vertical fin and horizontal stabilizers.
This material in this weight and weave is pretty tough to get a hold of.
