this is a used and operable water chiller with pump and conductivity controller. the process tanks for anion and cation conversion to deionize the water are not included. Generally they are leased and maintained by an outside company. All materials in contact with the water are stainless or approved plastics that will not add any metallic ions to the water. DI water is needed for most yag lasers and some of the ion lasers where the glass tube is in contact with the water. When metallic ions are present in the coolant you will reduce the output of the laser and shorten the tube life dramatically. It has a cooling capacity of about 1 ton. operates from a single phase 240 volt 20 amp outlet. has all the needed controls and valves to supply the laser with DI water at constant temp and without contaminants.
can be used with solid state lasers as well where it is needed to prevent corosion and metalic deposition from electrolysis.
