Defelsko positector 200 coating thickness gage
Coating Thickness Gage bought to measure thickness of Powder Coating over MDF (wood) material, but can be used to measure coatings over almost any substrate. Used once, worked fantastically, project canceled, put gage away on shelf and forgot about it.
Bought for $1800+. Great unit. Digital display, memory for multiple readings, completely portable.
Can be connected via serial cable to computer and be used with optional PosiSoft software (not included) available from DeFelsko to chart and add notes, analyze coating data.
Measures from 1 to 40 mils with 0.1 mils resolution. Gage is roughly 5.4" x 2.4" x 1.0" in size. What is included: Positector 200 gage, IR Probe, Conductive Gel, Instructions & Certification Certificate with case to carry/store it all.
Easy to use. Provides visual and audio signal that successful measurement has occurred. Gage will store up to 1000 readings, that then can be played back and recorded manually, discarded, or downloaded to option devices (not included) like a printer or to the PosiSoft software.
