"The HDTV996 is designed to provide a cost effective, reliable, high quality signal source for the new digital televisions. Its function is to play a pre-recorded ATSC stream using 8-VSB modulation. HDTV996 unit. Has rack-mount plates installed on each side, as pictured. These can alternately be removed to configure unit as a standalone device.

Tested and appears to function without any problems. Boots quickly and the Sencore application interface has been tested via both Windows and the integrated front control panel.
