One of our affiliated businesses is La Dolce Vita Tropical Bird Ranch, a hatchery for parrots. Breeder cages are suspended above the floor in the facility so as birds drop food and seed shells onto the floor it becomes a rodent attractant. We couldn't use poisons. We didn't dare use regular rat traps as occasionally a breeder will pick his way out of his cage and wander the floor. We were concerned that a precious bird may get killed in a regular rat or mouse trap. This is what we use now. Safe for pets and kids but dangerous to nosey rodents!
