The upper wheel is ground to a precision finish that will polish the metal being worked. The grinding ensures minimal runout for consistent shaping. The wheels have roller bearings which will take high loads and allow for minor misalignments in the English Wheel frame. The roller bearing sleeve is 2.5" long and uses a 1/2 bolt for the axle. The wheel is 6" in diameter and 2" wide.
