This device is a high efficiency current regulated charge pump that is ideal for converting a Li-Ion battery input for driving white LEDs. The charge pump automatically switches between x1.5 and x2 modes dependent on input voltage thus providing improved efficiency over other methods of voltage regulation. Suitable applications include mobile phones, PDAs, 3.3 to 5V conversion, digital cameras, palmtop computers and other hand held and portable devices
