do not know belt speed...was package speed at a ll bean order pick warehouse...not variable...a variable speed controller can be added belt is a finger or gripper belt diameter of idler and drive rollers is 3 1/2" - 4" hope this helps You also may call my warehouse man Ken Stevens at (***) 692-2128...he is quite knowledgeable
